KGS receives teaching, learning environment aid from Karib Cable
The Kingstown Government School on Monday received a DVD player and CD player from cable television provider Karib Cable Ltd.{{more}}
The equipment was handed over by marketing manager and sales executive of the telecommunications company, Richard Hadley and James Ballantyne respectively, to headteacher of the school Maureen Brackin in the presence of a class of enthusiastic pupils.
A release from Karib Cable said the company is âdevoted to educating the young minds of its studentsâ and they have made an effort to assist in ensuring that the educational process is as easy and interactive as possible.
Hadley said the donation is part of Karib Cableâs ongoing vibrant Corporate Socially Responsible programme that will enhance the teaching and learning environment of the school.
Brackin promised that the items would be put to very good use.
Referring to the recent fire that the school is recovering from, Brackin said gestures of this nature from corporate entities, such as Karib Cable, are greatly appreciated.
