This extravaganza will include various aspects of Vincentian culture at its best, a release from RHCDO said.

Some of the performances will include steel pan music from South East Steel Orchestra, Resistance Heart Beat Drummers, Garifuna Dancers, Denise Dublin, Ground Breakers – Thomas Saunders School dancers, poetry from Erasto and Peter Pompey, folk dancing, including May Pole, the Rose Hall Boom Drummers and much more.

CEO of the International Airport Development Company Dr Rudy Matthias will give welcome remarks and update the public on the progress of the airport’s construction. This is also an opportunity for persons who have not yet gone to the airport site to view first hand the developments taking place there.

The general public invited to this free event to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment, to show support to the Argyle airport project and to own the project.

“In owning the project persons are being asked to bring along a monetary contribution which they would be able to drop in the contributions box at the event. All monies collected would be donated to the Argyle Airport project,” the release said.

Sunday’s event begins promptly at 3 p.m. in front of the offices of the International Airport Development Company.
