Scotiabank reveals new Internet Banking website

Customers of Scotiabank St Vincent and the Grenadines now have access to a brand new, upgraded website which has been redesigned to be accessible across all platforms.{{more}}

Jennifer Murray, assistant general Manager, Branch Banking, explained that the website was built in a more responsive manner, as Scotiabank aims to keep pace with the expectations of their increasingly web-connected customers.

“This means that whether customers visit the websites through their desktop computers, smart phones or tablets, the site’s appearance will respond to match their individual device. This kind of device optimization is a feature we are sure our customers will appreciate,” disclosed Murray.

In highlighting additional improvements to the new website, Murray pointed out that “with the new redesign, we’ve now placed all our key business lines on a single platform, reduced the number of clicks to reaching information and we’ve placed additional tools within easier reach.”

She said it was all a part of Scotiabank’s continuing mission “to make it easier for our customers to do business with us.”

Murray noted that while the old version of the website served Scotiabank St Vincent and the Grenadines well and was appreciated by customers, the bank has not been complacent. She emphasised: “We continue to seek ways of gaining sustainable competitive advantage and improving the online experience is just part of that strategy. We recognized we could create a better, more seamless experience for online customers and we’ve done just that and we will also continue to evolve. Scotiabank was awarded Best Consumer Internet Bank for 2012 in St Vincent and the Grenadines and 17 other countries by Global Finance magazine. This month’s unveiling of the new websites follows similar releases in Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Grenada and Dominica. Other Scotiabank sites across the region are expected to follow.
