VIPo trade show postponed to April and venue changed

The VIPo trade and exhibition event has been rescheduled and relocated.A release from organizers, Invest SVG, says that a decision was taken to postpone the event{{more}}, which was originally carded for this weekend, March 22 to 24, at the Cruiseship terminal in Kingstown.

The Vincy Innovators Expo (VIPo) will now take place on April 27 and 28 2013 at the Diamond Industrial Estate.

Admitting it was the difficult choice, Acting Executive Director of Invest SVG Allan Alexander, indicated that the decision was made following much deliberation. He further stated that the agency is obligated to deliver an expo of the best quality to the Vincentian public, and that the extension of time to prepare, would do just that. Alexander added that there would be ample giveaways and treats for patrons of the two day family oriented event.

According to the release, the event will see approximately 50 exhibitors who will have the opportunity to sell their products at the event. Patrons can take advantage of the free mini spa treatments offered, as well as experience the culinary delight of the cooking corner which would be showcasing how to incorporate Vincentian products into meals. Local designers will also be showcasing their fashion lines. Door prizes will be awarded as well as other treats throughout the weekend long festivities, which would also see live entertainment by talented local Vincentians.
