US magazine names Baptiste among its top global women
The International Global Affairs Magazine – the Diplomatic Courier in Washington D.C – has named the founder of the Democratic Republican Party (DRP) Anesia Baptiste among its top global women{{more}}, as it celebrated International Womenâs Day 2013 in its March/April Special Edition Issue for International Womenâs Day 2013. This was revealed to Baptiste on March 8, International Womenâs Day, as she attended the Womenâs Democracy Network International Womenâs Day Conference in Washington, D.C.
The Diplomatic Courier explains that every year, in honour of International Womenâs Day, they honour Top Global women who have worked to improve their societies and hence the world.
âAll of the women are nominated by other women and while some may be famous and others not so well known, all of them are deserving of this honor and much moreâ, says page 32 of the Magazine in which Baptisteâs photograph and profile are featured.
Baptiste was nominated for this international recognition by the Womenâs Democracy Network (WDN), a branch of the International Republican Institute (IRI), among other women members of the WDN who attended the WDNâs International Womenâs Day Conference 2013 in Washington from 3rd to 8th March, 2013.
