GHS students visit Eastern Caribbean Central Bank

The headquarters of Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) hosted 42 students and four teachers of the St Vincent Girls’ High School on March 12.{{more}}

The visit to the bank was part of an educational tour by the students of St Kitts and Nevis, which ran from March 10 to 14.

During their hour and a half visit to the bank, the students were afforded the opportunity to tour the bank’s library and the Sir Cecil Jacob Auditorium. Their visit culminated with an information session with the Corporate Relations Department, where the students were given a brief history of the ECCB, the EC dollar and the role and functions of the bank.

The tour was coordinated by the school’s Social Sciences Department and involved fourth form students of History, Geography and Economics.
