This year’s Youth Month is being celebrated under the theme: “Nurturing the Youths Today-Securing God’s Church Tomorrow”.

Decked in various colours, the young people marched with their banners from the Calliaqua clinic, along the main road before converging at the Calliaqua Methodist Church.

At the church, the gathering was entertained with various dance pieces, playing of instruments and songs.

President of the Youth Commission, Juanika Joseph said the month’s activities will be geared towards helping the youths to be more active in the church by engaging them in meaningful activities.

Joseph also congratulated the winners of last year’s Youth Month competitions.

Reverend Lystra Craig delivered the message.

Youth Month will see the various churches participating in competitions ranging from dance, song, Bible Quiz and public speaking.

Youth Month will come to a close on March 3.
