Speaking at the launch, Daniel told an intimate gathering that the idea for his book came many years ago, while searching for books on relationships; he said he would become engrossed in reading those available from time to time.

The author said as the years went by, there were fewer books on relationships — something he said bothered him.

“One of the main reasons for putting this book together is to make readily available pertinent information that I think everyone can use…,” Daniel said.

The 95-page book covers topics such as: “Understanding What Love Is”; “Lovemaking versus Sexual Penetration”, “Premature Ejaculation”, “Love Before Sex”, “The Art and Benefits of Cuddling” and “How To Put The Spark Back Into Your Relationship”.

Daniel urged persons to make wise decisions in their lives, especially when choosing a partner.

“Some people get married to the wrong person and that’s one of the reasons why relationships don’t last… Since counselling is not always readily available, this is where this book comes in handy.”

He also said that persons often confuse sex and love.

“People mix up sex and love all the time… When you’re in love, you will want to give a hundred per cent. It becomes automatic,’ Daniel explained.

Daniel went on to say that the key to a healthy relationship is to have good spontaneity.

Following his address and questions from the audience, persons had the opportunity to have their book signed by Daniel.

Daniel is best known in St Vincent and the Grenadines and some parts of the world for his walking prowess.

A trained and qualified counsellor and sociologist, Daniel attempted several walking challenges in an effort to have his name etched in the Guinness Book of Records, but sadly, his efforts were never recognised.

Daniel, along with his friend Joel Butcher, has walked without sleep for around mainland St Vincent for six days and also in other countries. (KW)
