Among the persons to benefit from this timely initiative were young entrepreneurs and aspiring young entrepreneurs who have applied for assistance from YBSVG.

The successful candidates will be provided with financial assistance under the Accelerating Young Entrepreneurs Project (AYEP), funded by Canadian Fund for Local Initiative (CFLI).

Under AYEP, persons will also benefit from training, including, but not limited to personal development training, developing a business plan and working with a business mentor.

“I am pleased that the Canadian Government, through the High Commission’s Office in Barbados under the Canadian Fund for Local Initiative can partner with YBSVG in this project. AYEP will certainly provide an opportunity for young people to start up their business and turn their dreams into reality,” said Kenrick Quashie, managing director of Youth Business SVG.

Youth Business SVG says it extends an invitation to young entrepreneurs and aspiring young entrepreneurs to register at their office opposite Rent and Drive on the Vigie Highway to take advantage the opportunities available to them.
