Winners of Karib Cable Christmas promotion collect their prizes

Three lucky individuals were on Tuesday presented with the grand prizes from the Karib Cable “12 Gifts of Christmas Karib Cable gives to me” promotion.{{more}}

Jean Stanley of Ratho Mill claimed the first prize of a 30-inch flat screen television and expressed happiness in being able to win such a prize.

“It’s my first time winning anything,” Stanley said.

“It’s the best news I’ve heard in months”.

Stanley is the owner of Jean’s Bar in Ratho Mill and said that the television will look great in her establishment.

The second prize of a shopping spree went to Peter Samuel, who runs a small shop in Kingstown.

“I am very happy,” Samuel commented.

Felicia Morris collected the third prize laptop on behalf of her colleague, Sheryl Williams.

Morris, a teacher at the Salvation Army Pre-school, told SEARCHLIGHT that Williams had expressed joy over her win.

Sales and marketing manager Elroy Edwards congratulated the individuals that won and wanted customers to know that they always get value when they come to Karib Cable.

“We always find some opportunity of treating our customers…it’s an opportunity to further demonstrate our commitment to offering our customers value,” Edwards said.

“The 12 Gifts of Christmas Karib Cable gives to me” promotion was officially launched on November 19 last year, in which customers were given the opportunity to win gifts weekly, over a six-week period.

The marketing manager said that in addition to the prizes being won each week, customers that signed up for Internet and cable television, had the benefits of free installation and a free modem.

Additionally, persons that signed up for 2.2 to 8.8 megabytes in Internet not only received free installation, they also acquired a free wireless router. (BK)
