Taiwan Foreign Affairs Minister in SVG on two-day visit

Taiwan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, David Y.L. Lin, is in St Vincent and the Grenadines on a two-day official visit.{{more}}

Lin arrived here last night and will leave tomorrow, Saturday.

During his stay in the country, Lin will pay courtesy visits to Governor General Sir Frederick Ballantyne, Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Douglas Slater.

Lin will also visit a number of projects on the windward side of St Vincent, including the Orange Hill Farm and the Rabacca Bridge.

The Taiwanese Foreign Affairs Minister will also pay a visit to the terminal building at the international airport site at Argyle, which is currently under construction and being funded by the government of Taiwan.

Lin is also expected to visit some of this country’s tourism sites, including the Botanic Gardens and Fort Charlotte before leaving the country tomorrow.
