Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves returned to the state on Tuesday evening from Santiago, Chile.He left the state on January 24 to attend the Summit of CELAC (Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) from January 26 to January 28 in Chile.{{more}}

His delegation included the Ambassador to the United States, La Celia Prince, and Sandy Peters-Phillips, the Director of Foreign Policy and Research in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Prime Minister also attended a meeting between the Foreign Ministers of CELAC and the European Union.
