Woman wins free groceries for a year at Super J supermarkets

Franklyn, who won the prize, valued at $3,000, said she was surprised, yet elated, when marketing assistant Elsa Lionel-Jones informed her of her super winnings. The very appreciative winner expressed her thanks to the supermarket chain and explained that winning this grand prize is very timely, since it will help her and her family out a great deal.

During the six-week promotion, customers were treated to deals on every aisle, sampling of products, along with instant wins and weekly prizes. One of the most sought after weekly prizes was the chance to win the total value of groceries purchased on a particular day. Eighteen happy customers walked away with this prize.

Franklyn, like many of the other winners of the promotion, noted that the promotion, as well as the festive atmosphere created at the three stores, exceeded their expectations as they shopped.

Marketing assistant Elsa Lionel-Jones says “adding value to our customers’ experience is a priority for us. We are happy for their patronage and always look for opportunities to go the extra mile, whether on service, product quality, atmosphere of the stores and our promotions.”

The three stores are already making plans for other great exciting promotions to be rolled out in 2013, a release from the company said.
