The women: Pamela Rawlings-Jack, Athalia Edwards-Warner and Fabian Williams are all first time winners, after being customers of Courts for years.

Jack was last week’s winner of the store’s Create the Magic campaign. She paid her bill on time, which qualifed her to take home $8,000 in the process.

The school teacher from Greiggs said that she was delighted to win the cash back, which she intends to keep at the bank for a while, then spend it wisely when the time comes.

“I find that Courts has been giving back a lot to the customers. I am satisfied with what I have been getting and because of the way they give back to the public, I will encourage people to just shop at Courts and pay their bills on time,” Jack said.

This view was shared by Fitz Hughes resident Warner, who had purchased a chair set and deep freeze, which made her eligible to win $500, which she said she would use towards the payment of bills.

“I feel good because it give me a little help to pay my bills,” Warner said. “Everything I have is from them. I’ve never won anything, so I am grateful to finally win something.”

Also keeping her account up to date was Williams, who said that she relished the experience of winning cash back from Courts.

“It’s the first time I’m winning something from Courts so it’s a good experience for me.”

Williams said that she would be using the much appreciated cash to take care of some medical expenses, and used the opportunity to urge others to shop at Courts.

“I want to encourage everyone to come and shop at Courts, everything is here that everyone needs at a reasonable price,” she said.
