On Friday, December 14, the duo became the first two winners in The Cellâs Christmas promotion, which is this year called âSmile with The Cellâ.
The promo which was launched in fine style last Friday at the storeâs Halifax Street base, saw Castello and Trotman-Cato each winning a bottle of wine and Christmas candies.
Castello, who hails from Mustique, said âI feel okâ¦this is the first time I am winning something from Digicelâ. She was entered in the draw for the prizes when she bought a phone that same day at The Cell.
Trotman-Cato, who hails from Diamond, bought credit and was entered in the draw. âThis is goodâ, she said.
Persons are entered for a chance to win great prizes when they use the services of The Cell to top up EC$15 or more, buy a handset or SIM card, pay a post-paid bill or buy an accessory.
The Grand Draw, which takes place on January 6th, will see a lucky person walking away with a Blackberry 9810 (1st prize), a Blackberry 9300 (2nd prize) and 100 credit (3rd prize). Weekly winners leading up to January 6th will get bottles of wine, cookies, candies and free credit.
The Christmas launch also saw customers receiving complimentary sorrel beer and ginger ale and free credit, among other prizes, while kids were treated to face painting.
