Lucky listener of Radio Grenadines to get opportunity to sail the Grenadines

Radio Grenadines Inc has launched an end of year giveaway that will see one lucky person winning an exciting trip for two, to sail the Grenadines on the Scaramouche.{{more}}

The Scaramouche is a schooner featured in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean.

The winner of the draw will sail on this schooner for an entire day, from Union Island to Mayreau, Tobago Cays and Palm Island. Breakfast and lunch will be served on board and persons can drink all they can. They will also experience the thrill of swimming with the turtles and snorkelling the reef of the world’s renowned Tobago Cays Marine Park.

Radio Grenadines launched the giveaway December 8.

Entry is via online only and is free and simple. Interested persons can visit www.radiogrenadines.com, click on “Scaramouche Trip” and submit their name, contact information, and answer a trivia question. The trivia question is aired four times each hour on the same radio.

The draw takes place on December 31 at the Hugh Mulzac Square during the Union Island Old Year’s Night celebrations.

Radio Grenadines recently received a donation of a vital piece of equipment from the founder of Union Island Youths in Action Vernalyn Blencowe.

It will be used to record, store and produce audio performances of the Big Drum and Folk Songs. The recordings will be sold on CDs by Vernalyn’s group to assist with uniforms and travel for the youths.
