Joseph promoted to Assistant Commissioner of Police

Superintendent of Police Frankie Joseph has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).{{more}}

Joseph, who had been acting ACP, had his postion confirmed in the lastest set of promotions approved by the Police Service Commissions, which will take effect from December 31.

Also on the list of promotions is head of the Traffic Department Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Kenneth John, who has been promoted to the rank of Superintendent of Police.

Station Sergeants Clauston Francis, Thecla Andrews and Desmond Haywood have been promoted to the rank of Inspector, while Sergeant Charles Adams of the Fire Department is now a Station Sergeant.

Three other sergeants: Hannis Simon, Hesran Ballantyne and Paul Jones have also been promoted to the position of Station Sergeant.

Five officers have been promoted to the rank of sergeant and four to the rank of corporal.
