Gonsalves, Miguel retain leadership of the ULP

The top leadership of the Unity Labour Party remains unchanged following elections for leader, deputy leader, chair and deputy chair at the party’s convention on Sunday’s convention.{{more}}

Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves remains at the helm of the party with Girlyn Miguel also retaining the position of deputy leader.

Edwin Snagg retained the position of chairman and Chief Nursing Officer Sister Audrey Scott-Gilkes that of deputy chair.

It is expected that elections will be held when the national convention is convened in 2013.

At that point the positions of general secretary, deputy general secretary, treasurer and public relations officer will be up for grabs. (DD)
