Reverend Lionel Richards will be using some of the proceeds of his new book âThe Cycle of Life â A Caribbean Reflectionâ, received from police officers, to assist with the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force youth programmes.{{more}}
Richards met with the Officers Corps on November 16 and discussed the plans for his donation. He also encouraged the police officers to continue to put initiatives in place that will impact the youth.
âWhatever proceeds of sale from police personnel, one-fifth of the proceeds will be given back to the Police Force for its work among young people in various parts of the community,â said Richards.
Richards, who will be celebrating 40 years as an ordained minister in 2013, said this is not the first time he will be making such a donation and it will not be the last.
Commissioner of Police Keith Miller expressed gratitude to Richards and wished him continued success in his endeavours.
