This Christmas season, shoppers of the one-year-old Super J IGA Supermarkets and Save a Lot are in for more than they bargained for, a release from the company said.{{more}}

On Monday, Super J IGA Supermarkets and Save A Lot will launch their Super Saver Christmas Promotion.

“As the name implies, customers not only get to save when they shop, but they get value for their money in a promotion that features Super Saver Deals on products in every aisle of the stores,” a release from the company says.

When customers spend $50 or more at any of the stores, they get a chance to win the total value of their last purchase. This will happen weekly at each of the stores during the period of the promotion which goes up to December 31. In addition, at random intervals, customers will also be rewarded with various prizes when they spin the “Super Saver” wheel. The wheel will be loaded with hampers, spa treatments, grocery vouchers, gifts from suppliers and many other exciting prizes.

At the end of the promotion, one lucky customer will win groceries for one year; a grand total of $3,000 worth of groceries for the year.

Marketing Officer Elsa Lionel-Jones says “this promotion is not only geared towards giving back to our loyal customers, but adding value, putting money back in their pockets and ensuring that they get a “wow” experience when they walk into our stores.”
