Lewis Punnett Home receives medical supplies, equipment
SVG Helping Hands Inc of San Diego, California, USA, donated a âhuge quantityâ of bed linen, bath towels, medical supplies and equipment, inclusive of syringes,{{more}} needles, blood pressure kits, crutches and walkers to the Lewis Punnett Home at Glen, on October 24, a release said.
Susan Ellis, founder of the organisation, and country co-ordinator Sherron Charles handed over the supplies and equipment to Sister Ellen Wilson, departmental sister at the named facility.
Wilson expressed enormous gratitude and appreciation to the organisation for its thoughtful and worthwhile gesture, the release further said.
The Lewis Punnett Home, a 55-year-old institution, is managed by the Ministry of Health and is designed for the care of the elderly and indigent.
