Teacher wins $5,000 in Digicel’s Text to Win promotion

Bascombe, a teacher at the Bethel High School, is the winner of Digicelâs September Text to Win Promotion, in which persons could win cash by texting WIN to 7171.
âI worked hard for this and you always feel good about anything you work hard forâ, said Bascombe on Tuesday, after collecting his winnings at Digicelâs Corporate offices, located in the Lewis Building on James Street.
The avid cricketer said that he enjoys playing Digicelâs games, âbecause they are good fun, especially when you win.
âI also like Digicel because Digicel supports cricket and thatâs all I need to know,â said Bascombe, who added that he will continue to play Digicelâs games.
Persons can also win $5,000 this month by playing Digicelâs October Text to Win promotion. Digicel subscribers can enter by texting PLAY to 7171.
