Karib Cable’s Sales manager Elroy Edwards has described the company’s 15th anniversary week of activities as overwhelming.{{more}}

“To our surprise, we expected the week to be great, but it was even greater than we anticipated,” Edwards told SEARCHLIGHT.

Celebration activities climaxed last Friday, with gifts from the company being presented to the Salvation Army, Liberty Lodge Boys Centre, Med-Care Comfort Home, as well as the Ministry of Transport and Works/Ministry of Education.

The three non-profit organisations received boxes containing food supplies.

The Ministries, however, were presented with a cheque for EC$13,500, to be used to pay transportation costs for students travelling to school on the Windward and Leeward sides of the country in school buses.

During the week-long celebrations, customers were also afforded the opportunity to win prizes.

“It was a great week of activities and customers were very appreciative. They took full advantage of the special offers.

“For example, we had promotions on Internet services, where persons signing up for Internet services received free installation, free modem and a free wireless router,” Edwards said.

The anniversary celebrations were officially launched on Monday, August 27, when 15 of Karib Cable’s “most valued customers” were awarded gift baskets and one month of free cable.

Launched in 1996, Karib Cable provides full digital service over fiber optic cable throughout St Vincent and the Grenadines. These services include cable TV, Internet and landline services. (AA)
