Deadline extended for Bertram “Timmy” Richards Memorial Scholarship applications

Past students of the Intermediate High School now have until Friday, September 14, 2012 to submit their applications for the Bertram “Timmy” Richards Memorial Scholarship.{{more}}

The scholarship fund was officially launched by the I.H.S Board of Governors last Thursday in honour of the life and work of the former principal, who led the institution for decades until his death in 1989.

The scholarship will provide financial assistance to past students of the I.H.S enrolled at the SVG Community or Technical College or the University of the West Indies. The scholarship would be awarded bi-annually.

Application forms are available from the principal of the Intermediate High School at McKies Hill and at the Caribbean International Law Firm. Applicants must submit the completed application form along with their transcripts and two recent testimonials to The Chairman, I.H.S. Board of Governors, P.O. Box 951, Kingstown, St. Vincent.
