The ambassador is expected to meet with Minister of National Mobilization Maxwell Charles and several other government officials, including the permanent secretaries in the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, National Security, and Agriculture, a Ministry of Foreign Affairs release said.

Before leaving the country, the ambassador is expected to pay courtesy calls on Leader of the Opposition Arnhim Eustace, Taiwanese Ambassador to Kingstown, Weber Shih and the Ambassador of Brazil to Kingstown, Michael Gepp.

“Israel has a long-standing and friendly relationship with St Vincent and the Grenadines since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1981. Over the years, both countries have been cooperating in the fields of agriculture and education,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Magid is based in New York.
