Grenadines Estate Golf Club in Canouan promoted overseas

Belfast, NORTHERN IRELAND: Through the Ministries of Tourism, Sport and Health, the Consulate of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to Northern Ireland has delivered presentations on The Grenadines Estate Golf Club in Canouan.{{more}} The Jim Fazio designed 18-hole championship golf course, set on dramatic sloping hills and the Caribbean Ocean’s edge is a world leader being awarded many prestigious accolades, including “Best Golf Course”.

The golf tourism initiative was to strengthen the links between Canouan and Northern Ireland, particularly with the talent of golfers and Open Champions hailing from Northern Ireland, the large public interest in golf, those seeking sunshine and the unique Caribbean experience.

United Kingdom celebrity television duo Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, popularly known as “Ant & Dec”, hosts of Pop Idol, I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here and Britain’s Got Talent, were recent guests at Royal Portrush Golf Course, host of the 2012 Irish Open.
