St Joseph’s Convent Marriaqua records 67.5 per cent in CSEC Examinations

The St Joseph’s Convent Marriaqua returned passes in excess of 90 per cent in seven subject areas in the May/June 2012 Caribbean Examinations Council Secondary Education Certificate Examinations (CSEC).{{more}}

A release from the school said they recorded 100 per cent passes in agricultural science (Double Award), integrated science, agricultural science (Single Award), information technology, physical education and food and nutrition. Electronic document preparation and management recorded a pass rate of 96 per cent.

The school’s top performers were Shanee Harry, Tiffany Duncan and Lavern Alexander – who all passed ten subjects – and Shyan Martin and Shatica Cambridge, who passed eight subjects each.

The school’s overall pass rate was 67.5 per cent.
