Award winning Toastmasters Club installs new executive

The three-time award winning Imperial Champions Toastmasters Club, has elected a new executive for the 2012/2013 Toastmaster year.{{more}}

On July 5, the eight-member team was installed in a brief ceremony by Area Governor Nigel Scott. The team is made up of: Anika Stapleton РPresident; Ruth Ann Richards РVP Education; Frank̩ Joseph РVP Membership; Adrian Da Silva РVP Public Relations; Nakita Charles РSecretary; Ryan Hazell РTreasurer; Shafique Sam РSergeant at Arms; Natasha John РImmediate Past President.

The President says: “Our club has always been people-driven and people-centred. We work together to bring out the best in each other. Hence, the main focus for the new term will be on membership building and retention.”

To this end, the club will champion the way forward with the first of three membership campaigns which will run from August 1 to September 31, 2012. The other campaigns, will follow during the first two quarters of 2013.

These campaigns will seek primarily to promote the Toastmasters experience in SVG, so that persons 18 years and older can benefit from the communication and leadership training opportunities available at our club.

Imperial Champions Toastmasters Club is among one of five Toastmasters clubs in SVG which are all part of Toastmasters International (TI).

Toastmasters International is a non-profit communication and leadership training organization, with more than 270, 000 members, in 13,000 clubs in 113 countries world-wide.
