Vincentian Jamaicans to mark Jamaica’s 50th Anniversary of Independence

The Jamaican Vincentian Association will be holding a celebration to mark Jamaica’s 50th Anniversary of Independence.{{more}}

The event is slated for August 6, at the Peace Memorial Hall In Kingstown, and will be the first in a year-long series of activities being planned by the association.

All Jamaicans resident in St Vincent and the Grenadines, as well as Vincentians with Jamaican roots, are being invited to contact the Jamaican Consulate for more information about the event.

A planning meeting is to be held this Thursday, at 4:30 pm at the Ministry of Education Curriculum Unit. All Jamaicans are invited to attend.
