Thanks to Amirh Dennie of Makeup by AmirhD and her Flawless faces team, masqueraders will have the opportunity to have their make-up done to complement their costumes, when they hit the streets of Kingstown.

In an interview with Dennie earlier this week, she said between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 12 noon, at Aggies Restaurant at Town Hill, they will be providing make-up services for persons.

“We have rhinestones, feather lashes, glitter art and bright pigments to offer masqueraders…,” Dennie said.

Dennie told SEARCHLIGHT that her reason for taking up the task was because she has seen over the years, that only one Mas band provides make-up for their masqueraders.

“I wanted to do this since last year, but I was not in the country… Me and my team have been working hard over the past three months preparing for this event…,” she added.

Dennie’s team members are: Melissa Lewis, Godwin Charles, and Benita Thomas, Brooke Legair and Darrion Roberts. At the make-up booth, patrons will be provided with breakfast, snacks, cocktails, and rum punch at a price of $100. Groups of three of more can get a package for $80.

“Our aim is to make SVG a prettier place one face at a time… So, on Carnival Tuesday, we promise to make masqueraders satisfied and we know our work is going to be of high quality…,” Dennie stated.

Dennie has done make-up work for the La Gracia Dance Company, Miss SVG 2012 contestant Aziza Williams, The Network SVG, Xtreme Fanatics and SVG Next Big thing. She has done make-up for weddings and other events.

Music will be provided by Dj Cj and photography by Cloud9 images. Person can go to her Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Makeup-by-AmirhD/163829297015304. For bookings call 532-1131 or email amirh783@gmail.com
