The Liberty Lodge Boys Training Centre participated in the 1st Cycle in 2010, and was chosen as one of the six implementing partners in St Vincent and The Grenadines that are currently implementing the programme. Other implementing partners are Marion House, Adult and Continuing Education, The Rose Hall Working Group, Casper/Maria Marshall Centre-Clare Valley, and the Youth Department.
Led by Partners of the Americas, Washington, DC, âA GANARâ utilizes team sports to help youth, from age 16 to 24, to learn employment and entrepreneurial skills, find jobs or re-enter the formal education system. âA GANARâ, which means âTO WINâ, combats the serious problem of youth unemployment through the application of a four-phase integrated job training program, in which youth transform lessons and intellectual skills, developed through team sports, into marketable skills.
Parents and Guardians of participants, as well as residents of Sharpes and other interested persons are invited to attend.
