Nelson Bloc says thank you to Digicel for its continued support
Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Digicel Nelson Bloc Sean Brewster has thanked telecommunications company Digicel for sticking with the Mas band over the years.{{more}}
Speaking to the media on June 18, Brewster said that Digicel, through its support of various cultural activities, continues to play a major part in Vincentian culture and heritage.
âDigicel has been with Nelson Block from the day the company opened its doors in St Vincent and the Grenadines and that shows that they are a part of Vincy culture and that they have embraced the local arts and we are grateful to have themâ, said Brewster.
He added that even though companies complain of financial shortcomings, Digicel has struck with Nelson Bloc and this is very commendable.
âDigicel has shown their support not only financially, but they have also helped us promote our Nelson Bloc brandâ.
This year, Digicel Nelson Bloc, in association with Hitz 103.7 and Carib Beer, will be presenting for Mardi Gras âDat is Sos – A tribute to Winston Sosoâ.
Earlier this year Marketing Manager at Digicel Juno Deroche handed over sponsorship monies to Nelson Bloc.
