Colours added to J’Ouvert 2012!

As thousands of visitors prepare to flock to St Vincent and the Grenadines for Vincy Mas 2012 and as the Vincentian public struggles to decide which J’Ouvert band they should be affiliated with, Nu Koncep Int’l, a well known entertainment brand specializing in sound system services as well as Disc Jockeys,{{more}} will for the first time offer a new, unique Carnival experience, through a J’ouvert experience dubbed ‘Go Vincy – Rep Yuh Colours- yellow, green and blue’.

Spokesperson for the band Andre Alexander indicated that they saw it fit to launch a patriotic concept that would appeal to both locals as well as persons living in the disapora. He added that ‘Go Vincy – Rep yuh colours’ is a fun, exciting concept, with each colour representing something different and distinctly Vincentian i.e Yellow – Are you a sunset reveller? Green- Can you hold yuh own? and Blue – Are you a wet and sexy lady? The band has already generated a significant amount of buzz on Twitter/Facebook as well as at many Rural Carnivals; they have also fully embraced social marketing, by highlighting the various happenings at the Rural Carnivals on their Facebook page.

When asked what makes this new band so unique, they indicated that patrons can expect a full package which includes: paint, cups, whistles, bandanas, lots of top artistes, 4 djs, face painting, Vincy Food Stalls, Wet Fete after the street party, photo upload to the GO Vincy fanpage and most importantly, a secured location: Geest Shed. Tickets are now available at the Music Centre.

With the interest already generated, the corporate community is also getting a slice of the cake by associating their company with the band. Mr Alexander says they are pleased to be exclusively affiliated with Hitz 103.7/SVG TV, the exclusive TV radio sponsor, Hairoun, Sunset Rum, Sex Drive, Searchlight, the Planned Parenthood Association and Karibbean Tyres, among others who have already seen the potential of the band.
