Bonadie cracks Digicel’s code
Melissa Bonadie is the proud winner of a Blackberry handset, compliments Digicel and their âCrack the Codeâ promotion.{{more}}
Bonadie won the smart phone on Saturday, June 16, while at the Digicel sponsored Black Rave event, which was held at Carnival City, Victoria Park.
Persons in the VIP section of the event were given special VIP cards with a four-digit number on it. Everyone possessing a card with the four-digit number was given the opportunity to try and open Digicelâs safe, which was placed under the tent in the VIP section.
The lucky lass won the phone when her number opened the safe.
âI feel good to have wonâ, said Bonadie, who added that she was surprised when she typed in her four-digit number on the keypad and the safe door opened.
Marketing Manager Juno DeRoche said that the promotion was held at Black Rave to bring a little excitement and give back something to patrons who came to the show.
Meanwhile, Digicelâs âCrack the Codeâ promotion offers a customer the opportunity to win cash and other great prizes, just by topping up their prepaid phone EC$10 (or more) or paying their post-paid bill on time.
The promotion, which will run up to August 4, 2012, will see two winners every week. One weekly winner will get EC$2,000 cash, while the second winner will get an electronic gadget in the form of either a BlackBerry smartphone, a Samsung handset or a Samsung tablet. Persons can also win themselves data for one year and $200 free credit.
At the end of the promotion, one lucky person will win the EC$30,000 Grand Prize.
Persons who top up their phones EC$10 or more or pay their post-paid bill on time are entered in a random raffle/draw. Ten of these random persons will receive a phone call and will be asked to guess any four-digit combination between 1 and 9999. Digicel has its own four-digit number and the person coming closest to Digicelâs four-digit code, without going over, will win the weekâs prize.
During the grand finale, ten persons will be chosen to guess Digicelâs four-digit code and win EC$30,000.
Even if you win the weekly EC$2,000 or one of the weekly gadgets, you are still eligible for the grand prize draw.
The Crack the Code promotion complements Digicelâs other promotions, like Free After 3 and Cash Back.
