The Centre for Enterprise Development Inc. (CED), which is hosting the seminar in conjunction with the Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity (BIMAP), has announced an extension to the deadline for registration.

According to CED Communications Officer Keisha Phillips, the deadline has been extended to next Wednesday, June 20, to facilitate persons who have not yet signed up. She says although the response to the Event Planning has been good so far, quite a number of persons have expressed interest in participating, but have not yet registered.

The Event Planning seminar is designed to develop knowledge and skills in the planning and management of events. It takes place on June 27 and 28 at the Ministry of Agriculture Conference Room, and will cover topics such as Introduction to Event Planning, Event Design, Event Planning and Coordination, and Event Evaluation and Risk Management.

The seminar will be facilitated by BIMAP’s Kim Bascombe (BSc, MSc). It will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. Interested persons can contact CED’s office at 451-2235/6 for more information.
