Karib Cable supports Sugar Mill Academy “Healthy Heart Walk” event

Karib Cable, the only telecommunication company offering a triple play service of premium cable TV, fiber optic internet and fixed line in SVG, has once again lent a helping hand to the Sugar Mill Academy Primary “Healthy Heart Walk” event.{{more}}

“Sugar Mill Academy was honoured to have Karib Cable as the sponsor for our Healthy Heart Walk this year. Each term at Sugar Mill Academy, we have a specific theme: first term is called Healthy Snack; the children are encouraged to eat snacks “in God’s package”. Second term is called Healthy Heart; teachers, parents and students enjoy aerobics exercise several mornings in the week,” said Liz Cordice, Principal of the Sugar Mill Academy.

“Our Healthy Heart exercise prepares us for the Annual Healthy Heart Walk. The Walk was the idea of a student who thought it would be a good way to involve the children in fund-raising for their school. All money raised by this event is allocated to fund projects which are decided upon by the students. Once again, Karib Cable has demonstrated their commitment to the well-being of our children.”
