Post mortem report: Lewis died of broken neck
A post mortem examination has determined that 59-year-old Randolph Lewis died of a fractured cervical spine, or a broken neck.{{more}}
Lewisâ body was discovered last Saturday, along the Diamond/Brighton Bay area, after he fell into the water while fishing at an area known as Boat Rock, in Diamond on May 18.
According to information reaching SEARCHLIGHT, Lewis and eight other people were fishing last Friday afternoon when things took a turn for the worst.
It is believed that the former Solid Waste Management Unit employee was knocked off a rock, by high waves, into the sea.
His body was discovered by a team of persons who went searching for the missing manâs body, the day after the accident occurred.
The funeral service for Randolph Lewis is expected to be held tomorrow, May 26, at the New Testament Church of God in Calder. He will be buried at the Stubbs cemetery. (DD)
