New executive heads VINSA (Jamaica)
A new executive was formed when the Vincentian Students Association (Jamaica) held its annual general elections and year-end social on May 6.{{more}} Outgoing Cultural and Entertainment Affairs Chairperson (CEAC) Franz George was elected as the new President, while outgoing Food Representative Affia James was unopposed for the post of Vice President.
LaToya Creese was elected Secretary and Jerand Phills re-elected as Treasurer. Cameisha Browne was unchallenged for the position of Assistant Treasurer/Secretary, as was Omri Hopson for PRO and Lamont Cole for UTech Representative.
Immediate past UTech Representative Ryan Nanton was elected as the new CEAC and Agnes âSuzieâ Llewellyn as Food Representative. The meeting was cheered by the outgoing President and Vice President, Shavar Maloney and Jeon Adams.
Resident advisors Dr Garraway and his wife Seneca were also present.
