The Target Groups will be Prospective Business Persons and Small Entrepreneurs in the area.

According to Zonal Co-ordinator Rosmond Layne-Lorraine, the mobilization was completed and the sessions are expected to be well attended and enthusiastically received by the attendees.

Meanwhile, Business Skills Instructor Desrie J.K. Richards has indicated that a very well thought out and prepared program will be delivered. These sessions will include subject matters such as Costing and Pricing, the Basics of Profit Making; more quantitative areas, including Simplified Balance Sheets and Business Plan and other relevant Business Issues. Apart from the Business Skills Instructor herself, other staff members will share their knowledge and expertise with the attendees.

This four-day workshop will herald the beginning of a series of workshops to take place throughout St Vincent and the Grenadines in all nine (9) zones and will conclude at the end of this year.

Director of the Adult and Continuing Education Division Frances Clarke-Palmer is confident that these entrepreneurial workshops will contribute positively in the overall campaign of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank “to maintain a strong EC dollar and a stable ECCU financial system”.

The sessions will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.

Persons needing more information should contact the Adult Education Division or any of the Zonal Co-ordinators, or call at the head office in Lower Middle Street, behind the Methodist Church, or call 457-2960 to contact the Business Skills Instructor, Desrie J.K. Richards.
