The walk, named ‘Operation Clean’, began at the school’s compound and ended at the Indian Bay beach. The walk was originally set to begin at 7:00 a.m., but owing to heavy rains that morning, the walk commenced at 8:00 a.m.

The Young Leaders were accompanied by staff and students of the Girls’ High School and other supporters as they journeyed to Indian Bay. The walk proceeded through Roseau, Arnos Vale, Cane Hall, Belair, Fountain and finally ended at Indian Bay.

Participants were provided with bandannas and water; music was also provided en route. In addition, pamphlets were distributed, as the Young Leaders promoted ways in which we could reduce the effects of Climate Change.
