PM Gonsalves unwell; delays trip to Qatar

Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves has delayed his trip to Qatar after complaining of feeling unwell, during his stopover in Barbados on Wednesday.{{more}}

A decision as to whether he will continue his trip to Qatar and Kuwait or return to Kingstown, was expected to have been made yesterday, Thursday, after a visit to the doctor in Barbados.

Jimmy Prince of the Agency for Public Information and Cleo Jones-Huggins of Invest SVG are proceeding to Qatar as planned, for the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) meeting.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines Permanent Representative to the United Nations Camillo Gonsalves is already in Kuwait.

At a press conference on Tuesday afternoon, just hours after his return from the 2012 Conference of the Americas in Cartagena Colombia, the prime minister mentioned that he was “dog tired”, but said that he was not complaining.
