Upon being named âKing of the Parkâ, a delighted Lawrence said: âI was really looking forward to defending my title this year. After all the years of taking part in this competition, to be now crowned king twice in successive years is a wonderful feeling that words cannot describe. I was on Karib Cableâs Internet and saw the âMickey Mouseâ design and thought, this will definitely give me a winning chance this year. I am thankful to Karib Cable for continuing with this family tradition. That is why I registered my son today who is only nine months old and who also won the âYoungest Flyerâ title. I feel real proud to be called âKing of the Parkâ, once again.
As far as future participation is concerned, Lawrence assured: âIâll definitely be back to defend my title again next year and to see what great prizes I can win again!â
Other winners at the grand family-oriented activity include: Ronnie Mars â âThe Smallest Kiteâ; Nathaniel Lawrence â âThe Youngest Flyerâ; Kingsley Davis – The Oldest Flyer; Evonique Pierre â âThe Best Female Flyerâ- Gail Smith and family â âThe Most Family Membersâ; Jergen Gabriel â âThe Most Original Kiteâ; Leron Pope â âUnder 10 Categoryâ; Davidson Smith â âAge 11-15 years Categoryâ; and tied for the âAge 16+ Categoryâ were Elijah Creese and Corselle Smith.
