The concert will be staged for two nights, Thursday 26 and Friday 27 April, 2012, at the Aquatic Club, commencing at 8:00 p.m. nightly. Hearts of Steel will feature the orchestra playing music of different genres. It will be a fusion of music, theatre and dance, featuring the orchestra alongside top local artistes and dance troupes. These include professional Japanese singer Hisayo Tominaga, saxophonist Oswald Williams, a Latin combo, Skarpyon and Rennaisance dancers.

The concert is being staged to provide much needed funds to build the orchestra and to allow for its participation in Vincy Mas’ 2012 (Panorama). The concert also aims to promote greater appreciation for steel pan music and the art form in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
