Speaking at the launch of Vincy Mas 2012 on Tuesday, April 17, Dennis Ambrose, Chairman of the Carnival Development Corporation, revealed that this may become a reality this year.
According to Ambrose, audiences the world over and Vincentians living in the Diaspora will be able to view some of the big shows via internet streaming, but that the CDC was exploring the possibility of making the shows available to the local audience via their cable boxes.
âThousands of fans enjoyed watching Fireman Hooperâs performance in Trinidad at the International Soca Monarch via pay-per-view, so we understand this is a necessity under the circumstances,â the chairman said. (DD)
