Hairoun says hold your own to Union Island Easterval Activities 2012!

For another consecutive year, flagship brand of the St Vincent Brewery Ltd Hairoun Beer has been listed as the headline sponsor for the 2012 Union Island Easterval Activities.{{more}}

Last night, April 4, marked the launch of this year’s six-day long festival, and patrons were nothing less than exhilarated to commence what many refer to as “the best Easter Activities in St Vincent and the Grenadines”.

Persons journeying to the island should pack a white outfit for the Hairoun White fete at the Eagles Nest night club. Hairoun will also be a part sponsor for an event on that same Easter Saturday night, the prestigious Miss Easterval Pageant 2012, at the Ashton Hard Court.

From about sunset this evening, tradition comes alive with the annual Cultural night and festivities.

On Easter Sunday, the excitement and entertainment continue, as fun-lovers return to the Ashton Hard Court to witness a highly energized soca concert, given the title: ‘Hairoun Digicel Soca Fest’. The soca fest promises individual performances by big names in the music industry, including Fireman Hooper, Skinny Fabulous and Lava Man from the Spice Isle, Grenada; three kings sharing one stage. As persons fete through the night, they will have the opportunity to enjoy Hairoun prize giveaways and bar specials on Hairoun Beer. Directly after the Hairoun Digicel Soca Fest, there will be a Jouvert street jump up, from the Hard Court to the ‘Big Sand beach in Clifton’. Later on that day, Easter Monday, another street jump up is scheduled, dubbed the title ‘Hairoun Monday Night Mas’. Monday night mas will allow revelers to ‘jump up’ in Monday night mas band T-shirts, among other Hairoun branded items.

Apart from being the headline sponsor of the Easterval Committee’s events, Hairoun will also sponsor many other activites happening that weekend in Union Island, including the sporting activities in the square as well as those activities being put on by the Union Island Sailing Club.
