Today is the deadline for FCCA poster competition

The Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture reminds all students of St. Vincent and the Grenadines that the deadline for the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) poster competition is today, Friday, March 23, 2012.{{more}}

All primary and secondary school students are invited to participate in the competition which will be conducted in two age categories:

Junior Division: children ages 12 years and under (entrants should not have passed his/her thirteenth (13th) birthday by May 30, 2012.

Senior Division: children ages 13 years and older (entrants should not have passed his/her seventeenth (17th) birthday by May 30, 2012.

Each student must submit one poster and select a topic of their choice that promotes environmental awareness. The poster must depict at least three ways in which his/her destination can make a difference in preserving the environment.

One poster will be selected from each category for submission to the FCCA.

Words may be used to highlight the ideas illustrated on the poster.

Please note that posters must be 22” x 28” on poster/Bristol board, and have a description in English and a title.
