Gumbs heads Graduates Finance Committee

The Graduates Calypso Tent met on Saturday, 3rd March, 2012, at the Victoria Park and formulated a programme for its 2012 season, as well as did some adjustments to its management team and has appointed Nilio ‘Gumbsy” Gumbs to head the committee to deal with Finance; Winston ‘Chief” Davis,{{more}} who has now joined the Graduates will assist with the Public Relations, and Jeffrey “Snuffy” Martin will assist with shows preparation. The meeting heard updates from Glenroy “Sulle” Caesar and Aubrey Burgin on the 2011 season and the situation with longstanding member Alexis “LEXIE’Joseph, who is presently undergoing medical treatment in the United States and is not expected to be back in SVG until June 2012. The Graduates Tent has scheduled its audition for Saturday, 31st March, 2012. This year the Tent is expected to field a cast of at least 18 singers, which will be released within the next week, along with the profiles of the singers. The Graduates Calypso Tent extends its deepest condolences to the family of the late Gerard”RASUM’ Shallow, who was a former member of the Graduates Tent and produced and performed some of the more inspiring songs during his tenure.
