Emmanuel High School’s 60th Anniversary Celebrations

The programme of activities to mark the 60th Anniversary of the Emmanuel High School is moving along very well.{{more}}

A celebratory church service at the Kingstown Evangelical Church on Sunday, January 22, 2012 kick-started the program. This was followed by a very successful and incident free fair, tea and barbecue on January 4.

The next item on the agenda is the second (of three) church services scheduled for Sandy Bay Gospel Chapel on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Public transportation will be provided. Bus routes and other details will be provided in due course.

On the heels of the Sandy Bay Church Service will be a public lecture on Tuesday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Peace Memorial Hall, by Dr Cadrin Gill, a past student and past teacher of Emmanuel High School, a prominent Garifuna, a medical practitioner and a member of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Consulate, based in California.

Following the lecture by Dr Gill, past and present students and teachers of Emmanuel High School will get together to meet and greet at Dr JP Eustace Memorial High School at Edinboro from 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 15 for the first of several get-togethers.
