The year 2012 marks the 15th Anniversary of one of the major modeling agencies in St Vincent and the Grenadines, the Image Modelling Agency.{{more}}
This milestone cannot be understated; the agency is a pioneer within the local Fashion Industry, helping to pave the way for the industry as we know it today.
Throughout the 15 years, their passion for Fashion has helped them to overcome many obstacles; having started during a time when the local clothing retailers and consumers did not see fashion shows as a viable marketing tool for clothing and clothing trends, the agency gave birth to its signature event, Fashion Caribbean, which began 3 years into Imageâs formation.
Fashion Caribbean, being the first out of the gate, is the oldest of the major regional fashion shows. The show has garnered quite a following among local patrons of all ages, who have grown to appreciate the great production which is Fashion Caribbean, something that has transcended our shores and has built a reputation among the Caribbean design community as one of the best produced shows in the region.
To celebrate its fifteenth anniversary, the Image Modelling Agency presents Fashion Caribbean âStrut 2012â: Fashion for Charity, which will take place on Saturday, September 8. It is important for the agency to use this milestone as an opportunity to give back to the community which has supported it throughout the years and to simultaneously shed light on a very worthy cause. Proceeds will be going to the newly formed association âLeave Out Violence in S.V.Gâ.
