Next Big Thing deadline extended

The deadline for registration for the Next Big Thing promotion has been extended by two weeks.{{more}}

A release from the promoters says that because of the “overwhelming response from students in the schools, the promoters of the Next Big Thing have extended the deadline to accommodate the students who did not get a chance to register.” The new deadline is now Monday, February 27.

Students can register as a group, a solo act or in both. The singing category includes, but is not limited to, R&B, Dancehall, Soca, Pop, Gospel and Jazz.

The Instrument category has provisions for all types of musical instruments.
